Voltage-Reset Fault Indicators Series 1516

The Fisher Pierce Series 1516 Voltage-Reset Fault Indicators locate faults quickly by monitoring line current. The 1516 locates faults quickly, thereby improving service and decreasing outages and revenue loss. The 1516 offers reliable performance for pad-mounted transformers, switchgear and underground vault application.

The indicator trips to the fault position when the trip rating is exceeded. The 1516 utilizes a secondary voltage source, such as the low-voltage terminals of distribution transformers to reset display to normal position. The fault indicators are reset automatically upon restoration of secondary voltage.

The 1516 is ideal for use on lightly loaded circuits where insufficient current may be available to reliably reset a current-reset type fault indicator.
